Carol J. Polatas, CPA, MT

Carol Polatas is a manager with the 415 Group where she provides tax, accounting and business advisory services to individuals, partnerships, estates, trusts and small-to-medium sized corporations in varied industry groups.  In addition to her extensive knowledge of tax compliance matters, she devotes much of her time to technical tax research and planning.

Carol graduated magna cum laude from the University of Akron and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1986.  Carol also received her Master's degree in Taxation from the University of Akron in 1996. She continues to stay abreast of current accounting developments and changes in tax law by attending various accounting and tax seminars and is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Carol began her career with Ernst & Young where she provided audit, compilation and tax services primarily to the manufacturing and financial services industries.  Prior to joining the 415 Group, Carol was a Tax manager at Deloitte & Touche where she gained diverse tax experience, including issues relative to consolidated return matters and multi-state filings.

Carol resides in North Canton with her husband and four children.  She is active in volunteering in numerous capacities at her church and at her children's schools and other activities.  In her spare time she enjoys scrap booking, watching her children's sporting and community theatre events and relaxing with her family.
