Accounting and Assurance Manager (Canton, OH/Alliance, OH/Remote)
Responsibilities
- Effectively and efficiently supervise multiple engagement teams concurrently for audits, reviews, compilations and special projects
- Ability to delegate work, mentor staff growth while balancing client commitments
- Develop client relationships and directly correspond and communicate with clients
Areas of Concentration
- Process engagement responsibilities from beginning to end including communicating status of assignments
- Mentor and train staff and provide useful feedback throughout engagement
- Research technical accounting and assurance topics and communicate answers to non-accountants in easy to understand language
- Assist with developing additional services for current clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university
- CPA license required
- 5 plus years of accounting experience
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Strong organization skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Excellent personnel development and delegation skills including training and instruction
