Richard L. Craig
Rich Craig joined the 415 Group in 1995 and has been a partner since 1999. With a strong background in business consulting, tax and technology, Rich provides small and mid-size clients with current and effective business solutions to help them maximize their bottom lines. Rich spends much of his time with litigation support and business valuation studies for privately-held companies of all sizes. He is a frequent speaker to legal and accounting organizations on current business valuation issues and developments.
Prior to joining 415 Group, Rich was a supervisor of tax technology services at Ernst & Young's National Tax Office in Washington, DC, after serving as a manager in the tax department in Ernst & Young's Canton office. Rich received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Mount Union College with dual majors in Accounting and Quantitative Analysis.
In addition to being a CPA Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF), Rich is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). Rich has served on the Accountant and Advisor Customer Council for Intuit, Inc. in Mountain View, California, and has been a certified QuickBooks Professional Advisor since 1999.
Rich is a member of many professional organizations including the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Public Accountants, and National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Rich and his family reside in North Canton, and he has been active in many community organizations, including Community Services of Stark County, Canton Palace Theater, Congress Lake Club, Jackson Township Abatement committee, Jackson Township Community Improvement Corp., Greentown Community Park, the American Cancer Society, and the American Heart Association. Rich also has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Jackson-Belden Chamber of Commerce.
