John T. Somerville

John joined 415 Group in August 2025 as a Manager in our tax department. He assists clients with tax planning and compliance, reviews tax returns, and provides services for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and small to mid-sized businesses. 

 

John’s prior experience includes working in public accounting providing accounting and tax services, private banking serving ultra-high-net-worth clients and venture capital providing tax services for partnerships. 

 

When asked what his philosophy is, “Working towards the same goals as the firm including supporting our clients and fellow team members.”  

 

John likes working at 415 Group because of the friendly, supportive team and the family atmosphere. 

 

Outside of work, John enjoys attending music venues, reading, bowling, and spending time with family and friends. He has four adult sons, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren.
